RESTAURANTS

I am irrovocably, unrepentantly a food lover. On a work day I sometimes forget to eat, so I eat like once a day. But on weekends or whenever I stay home all day, I eat like 6-8 times and 5 times are real meals. So whenever I travel, I like to eat out and explore foods I won't normally eat or new cusines I haven't tried before. Some of my most interesting food adventures were abroad, eating haute cusine, especially in Francophone African countries. Yet I speak with experience when I say the odd 'boli' (roasted plaintain) or 'kelewele' (pepered fried plantain cut in cubes) or 'matoke' (steamed banana meal) gives me ecstasy.

Join me on my food adventures. I will be giving tips best foods, restaurants, where to eat and more right here on Sojourn Memoire.
